My sister just returned last week from New York and brought along some sweet gifts.
First item is this Thermochromatic “Hypercolor” tshirt from American Apparel. Hypercolor was a clothing line that introduced temperature sensitive clothing in the trendy late 80’s. However, after technical issues, production stopped. Typically, I am not a fan of American Apparel, but their rescue of this item is much appreciated.
The next two items are from the Brooklyn Superhero Supply Co. store at 826NYC. 826 is a national organization of writing centers founded by Dave Eggers in San Francisco (the first 826 center is 826 Valencia). I’m a big fan of Dave Eggers and the organization and hope that everyone will click through the links to find out more about the initiative. I plan to have a dedicated post about 826 in the future.

Superhero Tights – Actual tights are inside!
You know, those Thermochromatic shirts were hot in the early 90s.
yep. Hypercolor made it rain back then. Hence my appreciation for AA.
